Fazli Meets Djuro Macut
Meeting of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Prime Minister of Serbia
Stressing Expansion of Bilateral Ties
Mohammad Sadegh Fazli, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Belgrade, met on Thursday, 4 December 2025, with Mr. Djuro Macut, Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia.
Mr. Macut expressed his pleasure at meeting the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Belgrade and wished him success in his mission. He noted that Belgrade is committed to developing relations with Tehran based on cooperation, mutual respect, and understanding. Mr. Macut added that there is significant potential for enhancing relations in the fields of trade, education, culture, and sports.
Fazli thanked the Prime Minister of Serbia for his remarks, expressed appreciation for the positive approach of the Serbian government toward developing relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and voiced hope that, as a result of joint cooperation, bilateral relations in various fields would be further strengthened.
